Our Advanced Junior Player Development program is designed to support the path of young athletes through competitive golf in Junior Varsity, High School, College and beyond.

Combining monthly private one-one-one coaching with weekly group training is the best way to level up technical skills, while learning the keys to effective practice, game development and scoring utilized by the world’s best players. Designed for Advanced level juniors ages 12-18, our Player Development initiative provides maximum value in time and education, while creating a culture of excellence through working towards common goals with other like-minded players.Curriculum includes: Skill Building, Effective Practice, Mental Toughness, Playing Strategy, Tournament Prep and MORE!

Our team

In addition to being Founder/Director of MAKE THE TURN Performance @ Pronghorn Academy, Since 2008, Jeff Ritter has been acting National Director for NIKE Junior Golf Camps as well as site Director for NIKE Junior Golf Camps in Pebble Beach, California.

Overseeing curriculum at 200 + camp locations throughout North America, Jeff has always had a passion for helping young people play and live more powerfully through the game of golf. “Inherent within the process of shooting lower scores are so many valuable lessons that help young athletes become competent, confident, disciplined, compassionate and fearless adults. Helping young players develop the tools to live their best life, while playing a better game, is among the greatest joys of my career.” Says Ritter.

Ritter’s programs have helped countless players and families navigate the road through competitive and college golf. He now lives year-round in Bend, Oregon.

MAKE THE TURN Performance is proud to have Erica Stoner as a valued member of our coaching staff.

A Two-Time Florida State Champion, US Amateur competitor, IMG Tour World Champion and D1 Academic All-American at University of Central Florida, Erica is among the most impressive players and coaches you’ll find anywhere. Her stellar junior and collegiate career has provided her with a wealth of knowledge and resources to help other aspiring young players and families navigate the road to college golf.

Her newest passion is gearing up for future Long Drive Competitions. With a club head speed of 114mph, above the PGA Tour Average she’s well on her way to doing more great things in the game of golf!

What Is Supervised Practice?

Supervised practice is designed to keep you connected with your coaches, while providing critical training practices to elevate your performance. Each session begins with a short topic of discussion followed by organized learning stations. The ultimate support system to private lessons, you’ll be constantly challenged with new skills that directly lead to lower scores.

What Is Supervised Practice Curriculum?

Upon sign-up, you’ll be presented with a PDF calendar of weekly class curriculum. Show up to every class or pick and choose the curriculum you’re most interested in. Frequency of attendance is up to you!

Supervised Practice Times

- Tuesday: 5:00-6:00pm
- Thursday: 5:00-6:00pm

How Many Students Are In Supervised Practice?

Expect anywhere between 15-25 players per session. No booking is required. Simply show up ready to learn for one, two or three sessions per week. It’s up to you!

What Are The Program Terms?
